The first time Digital Video Disc was launched, it catered many advantages against the popular Video Disc and Compact Disc formats. DVD technology advancement gave it an outdated meaning of DVD. Calling it a Digital Video Disc does not give it justice.Right now, we do more things with the DVD than just storing data and video in it. We can call them as Digital Versatile Disc because even before, computers already had access to the technology for more than a decade to say the least. Gamers have been using DVD’s for quite some time now because ALL of their favorite games are released in that format.
