If you don’t have a player on your computer (perhaps, you bought the computer by parts), it is best if your buy a DVD-ROM instead of the usual CD drive. DVD-ROMs are more powerful than the ordinary CD drives and it is actually more economical since it can play all kinds of CDs. DVD discs too are the “in” thing nowadays since you can save up to 4.7 GB in just one small disc. Of course, if it is a DVD disc, you cannot play it using an ordinary player as the codec (and other technical terms) are different. If you want to save up on some of your cash, better settle for a DVD-ROM. You’ll get your penny’s worth.
