Toshiba recently announced their new marketing strategy for mass market adoption and they’re kicking it off by reducing prices on their HD-DVD players.
Starting January 13, the HD-A3 model will be priced at $149 or an amazingly 50% discount. The HD-A30 with the 1080p output will be priced at $199 or a $200 price slash. The more expensive HD-A35 will now sport a $299 suggested price, from an all time high of $499.
Other promotions include The Perfect HD Offer, which is a mail-in offer that gives customers who purchase any Toshiba HD DVD player to pick five HD DVD movie titles for free.
